Scea s.r.l. is specialized in the production and supply of flexible packaging, in particular for the food industry.

The company boasts a long experience in flexography and rotogravure printing whilst remaining a young and dynamic enterprise.

Scea is not only a manufacturer and supplier of flexible packaging but is also an ideal partner for the design and creation of innovative solutions which have high performance, are environmentally sustainable and are also appealing.

All of our recent investments are aimed in this direction: 3 rotative machines of the very latest generation have been installed in recent years and carefully studied production facilities for maximum efficiency demonstrate the continuous effort of the company to achieve its mission.

Our story

1977

Start of our activity

Scea starts its activity in Verona in 1977 with flexographic printing, in particular, paper, film and various types of plastic used in thefood packaging sector.

From 2000 onwards

Consolidation and investment in research and development

From the year 2000, thanks to the entrance into the company of the second generation of the family and to continuous investment, the company consolidates its position in the high quality flexible packaging for the food market, establishing a position of primary importance on a national level.

2008

New headquarters on the outskirts of Verona

Since 2008 SCEA has been operating at its factory in Zevio, on the outskirts of Verona.
The 15,000 square-metre factory (of which 7,500 covered) includes:

One rotogravure machine;
3 flexographic machines;
One extra size solvent/solventless laminating machine;
5 cutting machines;
6 thermomoulding machines for the production of single-use plates and trays for a total annual production of 3000 tons.

Since 2018

Development and updating of printing technology

Continuous investment in advanced production machinery together with refined control systems and constant training of staff permit very high quality standards and a significant production capacity.

The factory expands to 20,000 square-metres and includes:

2 rotogravure machines;
3 flexographic machines;
5 extra size solvent/solventless laminating machines;
8 cutting machines;
6 thermomoulding machines for the production of single-use plates and trays for a total annual production of 5,000 tons.
